Kimberly Paterson – Founder and Partner
Kimberly helps help leaders and teams increase their positive impact by mastering the behaviors that produce positive outcomes and reducing the behaviors that undermine personal and team effectiveness. A successful entrepreneur, Kimberly founded CIM – a strategic planning and corporate communications firm – at age 23. She grew the firm into the largest organization of its kind in the insurance and financial services sector. Her clients included Fortune 500 companies such as Wells Fargo Bank and Marsh, and major global organizations, including AIG and Allianz. With two decades of operational and leadership experience and advanced studies in human behavior, Kimberly launched a second career in executive coaching in 2007. She earned her executive coaching certification at the Institute for Professional Coaching. She went on to earn additional certifications in “Unlocking Immunity To Change” at Harvard University and facilitation at the Gestalt International Study Center. She is an active member of the International Coach Federation and the Institute of Coaching, affiliated with Harvard Medical School. She is a featured columnist in Rough Notes and Leader's Edge magazines and frequent speaker on the topics of high-impact leadership and behavioral change. In her free time, Kimberly is a working artist and an advocate for high quality of life and education for severely brain injured children and adults. She has worked actively with the NJ Department of Health to ensure patient rights and testified before state legislators to increase understanding of the needs of medically fragile individuals with severe developmental disabilities. She chairs the Family and Guardian Council at Matheny Hospital and Education Center. Fred G. Marziano, Partner Fred’s focus is helping leaders achieve significant and rapid improvement in individual, team and organizational results. He draws on 35+ years’ experience in executive leadership positions with Fortune 500® companies and global financial services organizations including, American Express, Liberty Mutual, Gerling Global and Continental Insurance. He also provides litigation support to the Insurance/Reinsurance industry serving as an ARIAS-US a certified arbitrator, umpire and expert witness. His successes include: building a start-up business from zero to $2.3 billion in just two years; integrating seven separate companies with distinct cultures, marketing areas, and distribution systems into one organization with a common business strategy and shared services platform; and leading the turnaround of a $3 billion-dollar financial services company in three years. He has served as a director on the boards of 12 financial services and industry organizations, including Liberty Mutual Insurance Companies, Continental Insurance Companies, Gerling Global, The Insurance Services Office, American Institute for Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters, Reinsurance Association of America, and National Council on Compensation Insurance. Born and raised in Northern California, Fred now makes his home in New Jersey. For more than twenty years he has been a strong advocate for the rights and life-improvements of disabled children and serves as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children who have been removed from home and placed in foster care. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, working in his wood shop, and traveling. |
